Eljer Releases Gibraltar™ Bathtub Video

Trade Video Features Lightweight Tub and Roger the Plumber

DALLAS, TX – August 30, 2004 – Lights, camera, action!  Eljer has created a trade video for its lightweight Gibraltar™ bathtub that features the popular radio show host, plumbing personality and PHC contractor Roger Peugeot.

"The video is proving to be a valuable selling resource for our customers," said Chris Miller, Eljer's Marketing Manager.  "Roger brings added credibility and humor to the presentation."

The five-minute video, targeted at plumbing contractors, presents the features and benefits of the EnduroCAST™ process and Gibraltar tub design, with special emphasis on the installer-friendly 89-pound weight of the bathtub.  Peugeot personally installed the tub, taking it from his truck, to demonstrate the fact that one man can install the Gibraltar bathtub.

The video is intended for use at contractor and wholesaler training meetings and for use at wholesaler city counters.

For more than 20 years, Peugeot, also known as "Roger the Plumber," has been one of the country's premier plumbing, heating and cooling, and home improvement contractors.  His Overland Park, Kansas, company – Roger the Plumber, Inc. – has been serving the PHC needs of the people of Johnson County since 1972.

First shown at the Kitchen and Bath Industry Show in April, the video played a major role in the company's "Eljer University" section of their booth.
