ELJER ANNOUNCES CUSTOMER SERVICE APPOINTMENTS

DALLAS, TX, September 9, 2003 –  Eljer Plumbingware, Inc. announces the promotion of Carol McCroan to Manager of Retail Customer Service.  Carol, who has held numerous positions in her twenty-one years with Eljer, has fourteen years of customer service experience.  She has successfully managed the customer service responsibilities of some of the largest retail home centers in the country.  In her new position, she will be responsible for all customer service functions for Eljer’s retail business.

Eljer also announces the promotion of Alex Dycus to Senior Customer Service Representative.  Alex has been with Eljer for sixteen months and her dedication to excellence and customer satisfaction has been an asset to both Eljer and it's customers.
