ELJER APPOINTS NEW DIRECTOR OF CUSTOMER SERVICE

DALLAS, TX, September 9, 2003 –  Eljer Plumbingware, Inc. announces the promotion of Missy Jackson to the position of Director of Customer Service.  Missy assumes responsibility for all customer service functions for Eljer’s retail, wholesale and international business.

Missy, an eighteen year veteran of Eljer, most recently held the position of Manager, Retail Customer Service.  During her five years in that position, she has been successful in leading one of the most respected customer service departments in the industry.  Missy will now bring her experience, knowledge and commitment to customer satisfaction to all of Eljer’s customers in her new position.
