DALLAS, TX – April 21, 2006 – Eljer, Inc. brings sumptuous spa-like luxury to the home with its new Trinity whirlpool tub, on display at the 2006 Kitchen/Bath Industry Show (Booth 3212).  The unique triangle-shaped design is the latest addition to the corner series of products from Eljer. 

            Measuring in at 72" x 72", Trinity features a cavernous bathing area that offers 69 percent more bathing space than the company's current triangle-shaped tubs.  The space allows for three bathers and also features molded-in headrests for added comfort.

Bubbling with Comfort

            Trinity whirlpools offer maximum performance and are available with eight or 12 jets that can be upgraded to feature a unique spiral action flow for a soothing effect.  In addition to the whirlpool jets, Trinity is available with a specialized Soft Air™ Bubbler System to provide extra soothing power when used alone or in combination with the whirlpool jets.

            The Soft Air Bubbler System consists of 24 air jets located at the bottom of the tub.  The bubbler gently releases tiny bubbles that float softly by the bather and provide a luxurious bathing experience. 

A dedicated motor and separate sensor pad that controls on/off, blower speed and pulsation cycle allows the bubbler to work independently of the jets.  And, the hygienic after-use drying cycle reduces the risk of bacteria build-up in the pipes.

            The Captive Heat System™ further enhances comfort by keeping bath water from cooling during bath time.  Unlike traditional in-line heaters, this system uses no electricity because it uses the heat generated by the whirlpool motor to keep the water warm as it passes through the system.  This also minimizes maintenance requirements. 

Tech Specs

            Both eight- and 12-jet Trinity models include a patented Safety Suction Valve designed to release the suction when objects such as a washcloth or hair entrapment block the intake.  Once the object is removed, the pump will restart again. 

            Each Trinity tub is pre-leveled to simplify installation.  And, color-matched trim can be upgraded and customized to metallic trim by the end-user.  Optional metallic trim offering includes chrome, polished brass, brushed nickel and oil rubbed bronze and an optional multi-color underwater light package with a sensor pad to control three modes of operation adds ambience in the bath. 

            Trinity 12-jet model features two independently controlled ¾ HP motors while right and left air controls and two lumbar jets add functionality and comfort.  The eight-jet model features a ¾ HP motor and a single air control.  Trinity whirlpool baths are available in White, Natural/ Bone, Biscuit and Onyx.
